Meet The Doctor

DR. NICK BRAND

Dr. Nick Brand grew up on a farm in Missouri. During those years he gained insight into the simple values of life and has maintained those Midwestern family values throughout his lifetime. Dr. Brand discovered early on that he had a passion for smile restoration and continued his education acquiring several advanced surgery and Dental Implant programs in the United States and Europe.

Dr. Brand received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After that, he joined the United States Army Dental Corps as a general dentist for four years, during which he completed his residency.

The desire to implement the latest in Implant Dentistry didn’t stop there. Dr. Nick opened Dental Implants of Ocala and within the last 10 years, he introduced IV Sedation, 3D Printed Guide software and 3D Intra-Oral scanning to ensure the best possible outcome and faster recovery for his patients.

His office, located three miles west of I-75, off SR 200, proudly serves Ocala, Gainesville, The Villages, and On Top of the World communities, and all surrounding areas.

I’ve been wearing dentures for many years. Can I still get dental implants?

Yes! There is no need to go through life with missing teeth! Dental implants are the best alternative to dentures. If denture adhesive isn’t used, you may have an embarrassing moment of your denture falling out while eating or speaking. Even if you have been told you don’t have enough bone to support dental implants, you may still be a candidate. Through bone grafting or sinus lift procedures we can rebuild bone in your jaw so you can get any number of implants placed.

Is the entire dental implant procedure done in just one day?

We know that getting your new smile is very exciting! Even though the surgery is only one day, the entire process is not. After your surgery, you will leave the office with a temporary set of teeth during the healing process. Based upon your treatment plan, our team will develop your treatment outline during the initial consultation.

Are dental implants covered by my insurance?

Dental implants are typically not covered by medical or dental insurance. Our team is your advocate and will do our best to work with your insurance company to cover any portion of the treatment possible.

What if my teeth break?

It’s always a possibility. You can slip on ice, fall forward, and hit concrete. The nice thing about this is that it is repairable. Even though you can’t take them out – the doctor still can. You come here, the doctor will remove the teeth and will likely be able to provide you with a repair in as little as an hour depending on the material of your teeth.

Will the implants feel like my real

Absolutely! Your new set of teeth will look and feel like your natural teeth. Better yet, they will also function like healthy, strong teeth!

How long does the actual procedure take?

Even though every patient has their own unique treatment plan, most patients come to our office in the morning and leave in the afternoon with their brand-new smile!
